Jupiter’s Story – A Diamond in the Rough 💎🐉

Hi there, I’m Jupiter — a bearded dragon with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I like to think of myself as a bit of a superstar, both in and out of my enclosure. I’ve always loved the spotlight — soaking up attention, basking under my light like it’s a stage, and charming everyone who meets me.

My story began when my favorite human had to move away to college. It was tough watching her go — we shared so many memories together — but I was so proud of her for chasing her dreams. She wanted the very best for me, so I went to stay with Grandma for a while. And let me tell you, life with Grandma was wonderful! I got all the love, cuddles, and snacks a dragon could ask for.

But as much as Grandma adored me, she started to realize that keeping up with my busy, adventure-loving lifestyle was a bit much. I’m a dragon who loves excitement — exploring, climbing, basking, and being part of the action — and Grandma needed a little more quiet time. So, with love in her heart, she reached out to the amazing folks at Happy Scales Rescue & Rehab. They promised to take great care of me and help me find my next big chapter in life.

When I first arrived, my new caretakers said I was quite the “chunky little superstar.” I can’t argue with that — I may have enjoyed one too many snacks at Grandma’s house. So, my fitness journey began! I’ve been getting back into shape, learning to climb and move more, and showing off my strong, confident side again.

Now, I’m feeling better than ever. My scales shine bright, my energy is back, and my personality sparkles just as much as my name suggests. The rescue team calls me their “diamond in the rough” — a true gem with plenty of love to give and a little sass to spare. I can’t wait to find my forever home — one where I can keep shining, exploring, and soaking up all the love (and basking time) I deserve. 💎Successful Adoption
